AMG CEO Paul Mengert Loves His Community

February 20, 2018

The main purpose of the company is to teach homeowners associations and their personnel how to be more effective and responsive to the homeowners they work for, but Paul Mengert’s AMG (Association Management Group) has another extremely important purpose, which Paul thinks is essential. Paul Mengert and AMG are quite active in the surrounding community of Greensboro, North Carolina, with a goal of making the community much better. In recent years, the firm has been involved in activities designed to those who live in the community.

Paul Mengert believes strongly in the concept that giving back to a community is one of the most important things any person with means can do. People in his position should also help give a leg up to those in need because that is what makes people virtuous and strong. For example, they helped with a food drive for Greensboro Urban Ministry. For his part, Paul Mengert, AMG’s founder and CEO, has also engaged in programs that have thus far provided more than $350,000 to local non-profits, including such important charities as A Child’s Place, Catherine’s House, Buddy Kemp Caring House, and others.

Paul Mengert and AMG have helped the community in many other ways, as well. In recent years, more than fifty local companies have sent their executives to a Management Development Program that was being operated and taught by Harvard Business School graduates who happen to live in the Greensboro area. Among these corporations have included Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Carolina CAT, CC. Dickson Co., Duke Energy, Microsoft, Pfizer, and now, Paul Mengert’s AMG. He is eager to participate in this valuable program himself because he always likes to likes to learn whatever he can to make him a better chief executive officer.
